Inflation Rate is 6.2% compared to 2021; SIB says food, fuel and butane more expensive

That means that compared to the first eleven months of 2021, the same period last year saw the average price we pay for everyday goods and services is 6.2 percent more expensive. Food, butane and fuel are among the largest contributors to those prices. There were also notable jumps in restaurant and accommodation prices, land transportation – including taxi fares – and fuel. Dale McDougall reports.
