Jamaican recording artiste, Dexta Daps is expected to be served a lawsuit when he arrives in the country later this week. Love News has been informed that the promoters of the 2020 concert featuring the artiste are going to brief the media tomorrow on the next steps thereafter. We are being told that the artiste was under contract with Belize September Festival Weekend to perform in March 2020. Due to COVID-19-related restrictions, the concert was cancelled. After the pandemic, attempts to set a new date were made but the allegations are that the “Call Me If” singer – whose given name is Louis Grandison – and his management refused. Without settling the matter with Belize September Festival Weekend, he’s being accused of signing a new contract with the organisers of this weekend’s concern without settling. The Belize September Festival Weekend then filed an injunction, which has now been dismissed by the court. That means that the event this weekend will go on as scheduled. We will have more in tomorrow’s news.
