KHMH to get new CT Scan

In related news, the Ministry of Health in Belize has procured a new CT scan machine to improve diagnostic services in the country. The new machine will be installed at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in Belize City within the next few months, which will significantly improve diagnostic services. It will also allow doctors to make more accurate diagnoses and provide better care to patients. It will also reduce the need for patients to travel abroad for advanced medical imaging, which can be costly and time-consuming. But, the workers at the hospital have criticised Government for the long time it has taken to get this crucial piece of imaging equipment in the country and ready to go. Health Minister, Kevin Bernard, has addressed this issue on several occasions and today, he reiterated that GOB is on the road to finalizing the tendering process.
