KHMHA Workers Union Call off Industrial Action

And talking about the KHMHA Worker’s Union…members voted to end its industrial action. This important decision came following a meeting of the union’s members and leadership last night. In a press statement, the union says quote “The majority of the members present in the meeting agreed to stop the Industrial action at this time. For those who voted to continue with the action, your voice was heard, and it will not go without a thought! We the union executive want to assure our members that we will not give up in our strides to make KHMH a better working environment with adequate supplies and materials. We are determined to continue with our dialogue and not be a “pushover” union.” End quote. This comes after the unions have maintained that the nation’s flagship hospital has had acute shortages of critical equipment and supplies and have called for better working conditions.
