Laguna Village Leaders Seek Government Attention for Land Issues

Leaders of Laguna Village, Toledo District hosted a press conference this morning where they spoke on the challenges being faced in the village when it comes to land and other matters.  According to the leaders, they decided to host this event so that the media can give a voice to their concerns, and with the hope that the Government will give them the attention needed to resolve their issues.  Alcalde Sebastian Iche spoke from the head table spoke on the specific issues.

Laguna’s Deputy Alcalde, Monica Coc Magnasun, made reference today to the CCJ ruling that was handed down some eight years ago.  She said that they continue experience challenges despite which political party is in power.

Chairman Iche has also claimed that the village signage has been vandalized.
