Lindsford Noe Cal Dies in Motorcycle Accident

Police in the Toledo District are investigating a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a Toyota 4Runner SUV. On Saturday night, officers responded to a 911 call which led them to mile 77 on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway. There they saw the motionless body of 34-year-old Lindsford Noe Cal of Indian Creek Village a few feet away from the motorcycle he was on. At the scene police also saw a black Toyota 4Runner SUV in the middle of the highway with its hood and windshield damaged. The vehicle was being driven at the time by 28-year-old Jose Darwin Flores, a pharmacist of Independence Village. Police say that Flores was traveling from Indian Creek Village to Punta Gorda while Cal was coming in the opposite direction. Flores told police that Cal was trying to overtake a vehicle when the collision occurred. Cal died on the scene. A blood sample was collected from Flores.
