Man in Pomona Village Stabbed to Death with Icepick

Two persons were murdered over the long weekend. The first victim is 29-year-old Kevin Williams. Williams was stabbed several times on Saturday afternoon while he was in Pomona Village, Stann Creek District. Williams was walking on an unnamed street with 39-year-old Ana Budna when they were approached by 43-year-old Doratian Rogatian Salam- a security officer and Budna’s ex-common-law husband. Police say that Salam jumped off his motorcycle and attacked Williams with an ice pick. Budna grabbed Salam and yelled for help. The attacker, however, managed to free himself and escape. William was rushed to the Southern Regional Hospital where he died while receiving treatment. Police Press Officer ASP Fitzroy Yearwood told reporters that Salam is in custody.
