Medical and Dental Association hosts 39th Medical Congress

The Belize Medical and Dental Association today hosted the 39th Belize Medical and Dental Congress. The event was an opportunity for leading medical practitioners to take stock of various contemporary issues and how the medical community responds to them. One of the keynote speakers was internist, Doctor Fernando Cuellar, who offered his insights on the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Doctor Cuellar stressed the need for better human resources, including support staff, which include technicians and even drivers. He explained that their individual roles are important to how Belize responds to the virus, even in this post-pandemic period.
