Muschamp Busted

Another case fell apart in court today due to insufficient evidence.  20-year-old, Malcolm Muschamp represented himself in court after facing charges involving a firearm.  The case was heard before Chief Magistrate, Jayani Wegodapola who explained to the defendant that he was being accused of carrying an unlicensed firearm.  Two police officers were called to testify, but in the end, the case did not hold up.  Muschamp was relieved of the firearm charge.  He is not a free man, however, because he is also being accused of killing Dorian Tzac on Antelope Street Extension in January 2022.  The murder occurred minutes before Muschamp was busted with the firearm.  Muschamp also faces charges of attempted murder, dangerous harm, and use of deadly means of harm upon 14-year-old minor.  He has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison.
