Over eighteen months, the People’s Constitution Commission will conduct several informative and educational consultation campaigns. The consultation sessions will provide an outlet for the PCC to raise awareness of a new constitution and get input from stakeholders from different sectors. The commission held a session yesterday in Belmopan to engage with citizens and gather their opinions on key subjects for a report to be submitted to draft a new constitution. Minister of Constitutional Reform, Henry Charles Usher, explains that it is important for the public to learn about the current constitution and engage in these seminars to voice their recommendations.
