PM and Ministers participate in Cabinet retreat

In other news, Prime Minister of Belize John Briceño and his Ministers participated in a Cabinet retreat. On his Facebook page, the PM said that the focus of the work is on the main tenets of Plan Belize. It’s his party’s manifesto, which – in part – is geared at security, national and citizen security as well as the well-being of people and the environment. At the Cabinet Retreat, the Police High Command, led by Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries, Kareem Musa presented the Strategic Plan of 2023 – 2025 – the multi-sectoral approach to fight crime. He also underscored that Plan Belize keeps Belize’s development on target. That, the Prime Minister says, calls for a review of accomplishments, and current conditions and sets out an agenda for moving forward. Today, the Ministers continue to identify the priorities for this year. One of those priorities includes a strong economy for the nation and a better quality of life for all Belizeans.
