Port Loyola Resident Fed Up With Deplorable Condition of the Streets

Torrential weekend rains brought by Julia left many Belize City streets flooded, with some areas under a couple of feet of water. One of those areas that were affected most was the Old Capital’s south side. Nolbert Roches of Port Loyola is one of the residents who is battling with the floodwaters and it is affecting his cross buns business. He’s equally concerned about unwanted visitors coming into his yard and trying to dodge the dirty water. Giovanna Moguel visited Roches at his property to find out more about the issue. Here is what she found out.
