Prime Minister Says No New Taxes in the Upcoming Fiscal Year

The Government is finalizing its new budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Prime Minister, John Briceño, says that there will be no new taxes. The budget will see an increase to accommodate the different projects that the Briceño Administration has in the pipeline for the betterment of the country. It will be used to fund social projects under Plan Belize that are aimed at the reduction of poverty and creating jobs to create a more sustainable society.
