RACHEL, the teacher, changing lives of the prison’s inmates a lesson at a time

Inmates at the Belize Central Prison are getting a second chance at life. That’s thanks to a new computer-based program that helps them with reading, writing, and arithmetic. In addition, they are also learning vocational and life skills so that they can prepare for life when they leave the facility. Dale McDougall got a first-hand look at the program and tells us more in this report.
