San Jose Succotz residents want GOB to back off their land

There is a land dispute brewing in the Cayo District. Villagers of San Jose Succotz say that plans are afoot to reshape the boundaries of their community. They claim that the proposal was recently brought up in a meeting held by the village’s council and their area representative. Over the weekend, the community convened to discuss the issue. Reporter Vejea Alvarez with the assistance of Cayo Correspondent Eliu Yacab tells us more.
