The Belize Cancer Society launches its 5th Annual Cancer Awareness Exhibition Competition

The Belize Cancer Society Dangriga Branch has announced the launch of its 5th Annual Cancer Awareness Exhibition Competition. The initiative is a research competition for primary school students in the Stann Creek District. The association says the event is a part of its mandate to educate the young generation on the prevention of cancer. Students from the competing schools will be tasked to create exhibitions on various forms of cancer via 3D modules, videos, and posters. The association’s Vice President, Carmella Carbonell, explained the importance of increasing education about cancer in Belize.
