Two drivers unhurt in late evening collision in Belize City

The troublesome corner of Slaughterhouse Road and Cleghorn Street is the scene of yet another vehicular collision. Just before 5:00 this evening, two vehicles, a Ford Escort and a Ford Escape crashed. The impact of the collision sent the SUV spinning out of control and slamming into a nearby fence. Up to 5:30 this evening, several minutes after the crash, police had not arrived on the scene. The driver of the car spoke to Love News at the scene and said that it happened in the blink of an eye. 

The driver of the other vehicle, we are told, had just left a nearby stationery store when the incident happened. She was travelling with a child at the time. No one was hurt, but the occupants were visibly shaken.
