UB Inaugurates State of the Art Chemistry Lab

 The University of Belize officially opened the Hummingbird Analytical Laboratory which will be used to undertake robust chemistry testing. With an average enrollment of about four thousand students and four hundred staff members who will have direct access to the lab, it will play an integral role in national development. UB’s President, Dr Vincent Palacio, explains that the lab will also be at the disposal of public entities that need to conduct testing.

The Dean of UB’s faculty of Science and Technology, Dr. Apolonio Aguilar, explains that the lab is fully equipped with the tools that are necessary to enhance skillsets in analytical work.
