Women’s Commission continues advocacy for policies to address gender-based violence

The National Women’s Commission says it continues to advocate for reforms necessary to end discrimination and violence against women. The newly revised National Gender Policy, the National Gender-based Violence Action Plan and other critical policies are working collectively toward this end. The President of the Commission, Thea Garcia-Ramirez outlined why these issues remain important.
