Young Parents Get Ready to Welcome Triplets at the KHMH

Twenty-Four-Year-Old, Jennifer Alberto, was in high spirits this morning as she prepared to deliver her triplets. The doctors and staff at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital are gearing up for tomorrow’s delivery as this will be the first time triplets will be delivered at the hospital since December 2021 and the first time this year. The first-time mother-to-be is expecting a set of boys, who currently weigh about six pounds each. Love News caught up with Alberto today to get an insight as to how she was feeling before going into the delivery ward.  

Jennifer Alberto, Mother-to-be: “I did the ultrasound and the shocker we were having twins actually then later on as we did the continuous follow ups we found out that ti’s triplets so that was very shocking to us. When I did the first ultrasound it was done too soon so only two of them showed but as time went by the other one obviously showed in the following ultrasound. I feel very nervous because I have never had a surgery in my life before so that’s pretty scary but besides that I feel very happy and I feel very excited to meet my boys.”

The babies’ father, Enmil Murillo, says while the pressure of being a first-time-father is at an all-time high, especially for triplets, he is prepared for what is yet to come. 

Enmil Murillo, Father-to-be: “To begin with I think first when I found out that she was pregnant you know I had to question it and be like okay let’s go find out  and do the test and all of that, went through the process, did the ultrasound found out that it was two and started to sweat, then when I found out the other time when I went to the ultrasound they told me no you’re not having two you’re having three sir. So then I was like okay well “doctor please make sure that what you’re saying is correct.” and boom right now we’re in the situation and I’m nervous as well but I’m happy. I’m happy  because I wanted to be a dad by this time especially of a boy but three ? You know it is what it is. What I envision is like I try always to improve so just like that I am improving I will make my babies as well be better than me so that’s something I’m envisioning; make them be better than I am.”
